Olive picking 2020-2021

One of our very old olive trees

About 9.30am, coffee break!

All day working with a 'dembla' a long stick with which you can collect the olives

Afroditi collecting this beautiful green olives from a net

This is what fresh olive oil looks like!

In the evening we bring the olives to factory where the oil is substracted from the olives with a centrifuge

Outside the factory more bags with olives are waiting for
the centrifuge

Some very old trees are just huge!

This Kalamata olives are not for oil
but for consumption!

This beautiful landscape with its thousand colors of green!

Some of our fields are also pretty steep!
Challenging!

One tree 'gemato', meaning; completely full with olives!

Our fresh 2019-2020 products

Our new 750mL Olive Oil bottles.
This season we had a fantastic crop! Therefore the quality of the olive oil is superb with an acidity of approximately 0,2%!
This is also due to the short time between crop and pressing the oil. We harvest and press at the very same day!
Our oil is unfiltered and rested two month to become clear, this why our oil is so tasty! Afroditi Olive Oil, pure tradition!

Fresh oil, 2019-2020 crop
